I'm connected!

My Internet phone is set up, so feel free to call me anytime. I have a number local to the U.S., so you won't have any international calling charges.

And this is a test to see if I can figure out how to upload photos, since everything on my blog site is in Korean! This is me with with some of the University Television staff at WIU . . . the day before I left for Seoul.

hmm.. i'm not sure if you'll check this comment made 1.5 years after you wrote this post but i'll be moving to korea at the end of august and was wondering how you set up a phone number in korea with a number local to the US. i'm sure it would come in handy for the year that i'll be there. :)

Hi, Grace

Thanks for all of your comments! I use a company based in Milwaukee for my Internet phone service. The website is www.myacn.com. I've had very good luck with them.

My brother, who lives in Japann, uses Vonage and seems to be happy with that company, as well.

Also, I've heard many good reports about Skype, but I use it only for speaking from computer-to-computer. I've never used its features to dial to a mobile or land line.

Hope this helps!

Abby
